Stop guessing.
Start knowing.

Your audio interface says 96kHz. Your monitor claims HDR. Your USB cable promises 10Gbps. But what's actually happening right now?

Connection Information Center shows you everything — Audio, USB, Thunderbolt, Display, and Network — in one unified dashboard.

No more digging through separate system menus.

See sample rates, refresh rates, link speeds, and connection quality all in one place.

Audio

Sample rate, bit depth, channels, format, and latency. Bluetooth codec detection — aptX, LDAC, and more. Audio quality assessment at a glance.

USB & Thunderbolt

Negotiated speeds from USB 2.0 through USB 3.2 and Thunderbolt 1–3. Live charger wattage on MacBooks. Power draw, vendor IDs, and product IDs.

Display

Resolution, refresh rate, HDR status, and color depth. Retina and HiDPI scaling status, panel type, and a display quality assessment.

Network

SSID, internal and external IP addresses, MAC address, link speed, and Wi-Fi standard. ISP detection and iCloud Private Relay status.

Built for understanding

Tap the info icon next to any technical term for a clear definition — or an "Explain Like I'm Five" breakdown. Connection testing for network, audio, USB, and display stability. Performance scores and health status (beta).

Efficient & private

Native SwiftUI app with minimal resource usage. Your data never leaves your Mac — no tracking, no telemetry, and no cloud sync.

Technical note

macOS reports negotiated speeds accurately for most connections. Some complex devices — certain RAID arrays and multi-function Thunderbolt hubs — may not fully report if they don't present standard interfaces.

Privacy note: To display detailed Wi-Fi information like the network name (SSID), macOS requires location permissions. Your location data is never stored, analyzed, or transmitted.

See everything. Understand everything.
